Your answer to the interior landmark focal point,
When wound and the start/stop lever actuated, the perched full naturalistic and taxidermy yellow and white feathered plumaged bird moves beak, tailfeather and head from side to side, perfectly synchronised to the continuous melodic and loudly expressed birdsong, coming to a finish when the start/stop lever is returned to stop position.
The bird with natural beak, black eyes and full plumage in off-white and delicate mustard yellow, on brass T bar perch, base with pale red velour cover, under domed circular cage with hoop and boss top, leaf detail-cast intermediate bands and every sixth bar of double twists, on superb circular gilt gesso wood movement base with well detailed acanthus leaf frieze above further leaf and egg and dart plinth, raised on bun feet.
Point of Interest -
If you seek a pair, or matched pair, of large single singing birds in cage, then have a look at this and stock 1527. They are very similar, with only slight differences.
This cage features birdsong of loud volume, beautifully sung with keen attention to the individual notes achieved by the pneumatically powered variable whistle.
Take a very good look at the gesso base and the feathered bird. Untouched. Kept in check. Admired and cherished and about to be housed and enjoyed within its new home for many years to come. A superb example of what a Phalibois singing bird in cage should look like and sound.
